For each Epic created I want to automatically generate a Confluence page using a requirements template; however, the templates list is shown to have no options for the space. What configuration is needed to ensure this list is populated?
Hi @bduncan I ran into this also and asked about it here, and discovered that only custom page templates are available in the template picker for create page action. I assume because you're not seeing anything that you don't have any custom templates created.
The improvement request that was linked in the answer to my question was closed as a duplicate, you can view the open request here.
Oddly, I have the exact opposite issue. I see all of the default templates and not the one custom template I made that I need.

hello @Sam Harding I am afraid that the feature is not even showing all custom templates list. I am automating release notes creation when a version is released but it does not populate the custom template we have built for selecting as page template.

I am having the same issue except only new templates are not in the list. Older templates are listed in the dropdown.

I am facing the same issue as JoEllen, the relatively newer templates are not populating. But the rule was working at one point and these templates were available to be used in the automation rule and now they are gone.

I'm having a similar issue as well. I've created a new template but I can't select it from a jira automation. Hopefully it just takes some time to sync and my new template will show up soon.

I don't know if this is accurate or not, but several people on other issues/questions have suggested that templates do not show up in jira automation if they have any variables.
Which kind of defeats the whole purpose. The whole reason I created a template in the first place was to be able to auto-fill it from a jira automation. Guess I can't do that unless this feature request gets implemented: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/AUTO-82
