Hello, I'm testing out the new automation action "Create page in Confluence". In the "Template" dropdown field, only our custom page templates are available to select.
Is it not possible to select the built-in Atlassian page templates? Has this feature been designed so only custom page templates can be used?
I have org/site admin permissions for our Atlassian org and site, I've confirmed I have the required Space permissions, and there are no page restrictions placed on the parent page I chose.
Hi all,
Unfortunately at this time, only the custom templates are available in the template picker for the create page action.
I have raised an improvement for this here https://codebarrel.atlassian.net/browse/AUT-2437
Cheers
Sam

Thanks @Sam Harding I feared that would be the answer.

hello @Sam Harding I am afraid that the feature is not even showing all custom templates list. I am automating release notes creation when a version is released but it does not populate the custom template we have built for selecting as page template.
Is this a bug? pleas explain.

Hi @Sadaf Mufti _105601_ !
I'm trying to automate the creation of Release Notes when a version is released but I couldn't find the way to use it with my templates, but it just works when a "Global Template" is created and it's on the list. I believe that only a JIRA admin has access to create a Global Template.
Did you find a way to automate it using templates? I'd like to know more about it, if that's ok whit you.
I'm still looking for a best way to reduce the manual work to update the content of the page created. I'd like to populate information from the version released automatically.
Thanks,
Daiana

I seem to have the opposite issue. I can see all the default ones but not the one custom one I need.
