Confluence Space Migration

Randy Mcelroy October 29, 2012

We have moved an entire space from one Confluence server to a different server. We performed an XML export and then resored the space onto the new server. Once the space was migrated we reindexed the new server. The problem is that the links are still pointing to the old server. IS there something missing in the instructions that changes the links or do we have to manually update all of the links? We have about 300 pages that we migrated that now have incorrect links.

Hi there,

If the links mentioned are using URL, then it is necessary for you to manually change the links to the new URL as Confluence has no way to modify URL link automatically.

Hope it clarified your doubts.
