Confluence Slack integration - is it possible to turn off notifications for changes made by me?

I'm using the Confluence Cloud plugin to get Slack notifications when someone edits or comments on a page in my space. However, I always get a Slack notification immediately when I make a change to a page, which is annoying since I obviously know I just made that change.

Is it possible to only get notifications when users other than me make changes?

Hey Kevin, welcome to the Community!

The feature to send notifications into Slack was likely thought of in the context of sending messages to a channel. Since it is possible to have messages go directly to a single user (you get a direct message from the Confluence app), I can see how having the ability to filter out changes you made yourself would be useful. This isn't possible right now with the official integration between Confluence and Slack. I've created a feature request for this use-case in our public Jira instance: API-249

Cheers,
Daniel
