Confluence Search Box Macro

Hi Everyone,

does anybody know how to restrict the search to the current page?

Thanks,

I don't think you change the behavior of the main search field, but you can add a search field on your page and set it to only search certain pages and/or labels.

Hi Milo, how can you add search field to a page?

There are at least three included or free search macros: Livesearch Page Tree Search Search Box Each has its own parameters for what to search. Page Tree Search is probably the best option for searching just the page it's on, as long as there are no child pages. The other two could be used to search a single page, but only if it is the only page in a specific space.

Why not just use Ctrl+F in your browser?

The old Lucen options to search on urlPath are broken. This used to let us search on a specific page. We are waiting for CQL to be rolled out to the site search, it hasn't happened yet.
