I've tried to import my existing word file with 25 Mb size in a new page on Confluence
But the page became unresponsive when importing the file.
I have tried in 3 different laptop specs and still have got the same issue.
after waiting for 10-20 minutes, the page became responsive.
Is this a Confluence performance issue or a laptop performance issue?
Hi @Ersa Aditya Hasdianto I looked out on Atlassian's Jira site and found CONFCLOUD-76068 which looks very similar to the issue you are experiencing. I voted for it, and you can vote for and watch it to get further updates on its progress.
Have you tried stripping down the word file to see if it could be a size issue and still get it imported. Maybe removing some images, or consolidating some text? Is it possible to break it into several documents to get it imported?
Hope that helps.
Hi @Dan Breyen thank you for your information of CONFCLOUD-76068 to monitor the issue and for your suggestion to strip down the word file.
Apparently it is not what we require right now because we do have a lot of existing documents that need to be exported to Confluence.

Been there, done that.
If the issue is the word file being really long, try splitting it into smaller chunks as @Dan Breyen

Hi @Kristian Klima
thank you for your suggestion
the simple copy-paste from the docs doesn't cause the page unresponsive but it causes the images size to change and it is not convenient to revert each image size to original, because one document can contains many images.
copy-paste from word document still cause the page unresponsive.
