Confluence Page - Uploading a File places the File in both Categories / Sections

Dear Confluence Experts,

Thank you for reading this question. So I have a Confluence page with two categorry sections, Category A and Category B like the screenshot below.

However, every time I try to upload a file, whether I click the upload in the red box or the upload in the blue box, when the file is uploaded, it always appears under both Category A and Category B.

What can I do so when I click the upload under Category A, it only uploads to Category A's place?

Thanks!

Kevin

Hi @Kevin Lu ~ have you tried adding attachment labels and then updating each of your attachment macros to display only those with a specific label?  i.e. categorya for attachments in Category A vs categoryb for attachments in Category B?

Dear Laurie,

Thank you for your reply. If I added the labels, then the files that are already uploaded to the category disappear. In this case, how do I add the labels to the files that are already in the category?

Thanks!

Kevin

@Kevin Lu With the page in View mode, select ... > Attachments > Files to open the Attachments page. In the Labels column, click the pencil (edit) icon to add labels to the individual file.
