We are looking to use the confluence migration tool to move spaces from our on prem Confluence to the Confluence cloud. We ran a test and whilst it moved the data fine it also migrated over a load of users that were disabled on the on prem system, even though they were not listed as users of the space that was migrated.
Is there a way of bulk cleaning these migrated users as we could not find one? We cant clean them up on the on prem system as they are linked to spaces, comments etc and Confluence wont allow you to delete the user (a feature i wish Atlassian would implement) unless you go into each space and remove whatever is linked to the account. It is not feasible to do this manually for 1000+ disabled users. Will removing all the users out of the Confluence users group on the on prem system stop them from being migrated?
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks.
