Confluence - Excel Formatting Preservation

We are attempting to use Confluence to display data that is stored in Excel.  Excel is being used as it is portable there are calculations being done.  Is there a way to preserve the formatting so that the document is more readable?  For example, we have Column headings that we would like to tilt 90 degrees to make them easier to read

Are you using Excel as an attachment?  Downloading/uploading the attachment won't affect the source formatting.

Perhaps include an image here of what you are seeing as not formatted

Confluence Version

Excel Version

As you can see, row 1 has different formatting.  Confluence's formatting makes it so that is does not fit on a single page, like the excel version does.  We are using the excel macro here to display

Was there ever a solution found to this? I have a very similiar issue that I cannot seem to figure out.

Hi Tim

It seems to be the same sort of problem, at least in part, as table column width formatting on the page - I think the latest version of Confluence has dynamic/fixed width control for tables

you may need to raise an official improvement request in the database because of the issues with text direction etc
