We are running Confluence 5.2.5, we have attachments Storage as Database, Recently we have observed that size of our attachment Directory has grown tremendously high around 35 GB. Since we have Attachments stored on Database. what could be the issue.
Please help !!
If your attachments directory is growing, the obvious answer is that you are not storing attachments in the database and your users are attaching large and/or numerous files. But we can't really tell you.
Analysing what is there is likely to tell you a lot more about what you've done than any uninformed guess we can make. The best we can do without any analysis of the data on the disk really is tell you that "you have put a load of files on the disk, you need to look at why and how"
