Looking to create a master database containing assets from different business units/areas. Each business area has their own confluence space, seperate to mine where the master database will be stored.
1) Is it possible that for them to view a subsection of the database, of only entries relating to their own domain and not the others? I suspect this is possible with an embed and specific view enabled?
2) Through this subsection of the database and on their own page, would they be able to edit the database if i grant the relevant permissions?
I want the team members of a specific business area i.e. Marketing to view and edit Marketing related entries of the database through their own space/page. Then when i look at the master list in my own space/page, it is automatically updated. Hopefully this is possible?
Hey @Adam Ali ,
Here's a similar thread on the topic that you might want to follow: Can i display only one view of a database when I embed the Database into another page?
I'm not an expert and I don't know if there's a native way you can do this but here's a feature suggestion on which you can cast your vote so it might get developed: CONFCLOUD-79661 Option to Restrict View Toggling for Embedded Database Views
Cheers,
Tom
