Confluence (Cloud): editing and updating takes ages

We face issues when editing confluence pages. This appears to be very slowly.

When we want to save or update the page it doesn't work (system tries to do so for minutes and minutes, but no success) and there is also no draft saved. When refreshing the page all content is gone.

Reading and searching for content works.
