Confluence Cloud REST API Basic Authentication - some users can't authenticate

Hi.

We are trying to access a resource using basic authentication. It's a script to update a content of a page.

Our users are managed by G-Suite.

We can do that using old users, but not with new ones (we get 401 Unauthorized).
There is nothing wrong with the URLs. Using CURL with one user works, but not with the other. 

Not only that, all users can access the UI and perform standard operaions.

Does anybody have the same experience ?

Is there any additional setting to apply to the user ?

Problem solved - for other people who might face the same situation:

Apparently, logging into any Atlassian app and changing the password once - solves the problem.

For some reason, after changing the password, the user becomes eligible for using the REST API.
