Confluence Calendar Notifications only for specific users

We have users requesting that they only want to receive the calendar update notifications for specific users (users under their purview).  

Is there a way to do this so the user will not receive all of the update notifications but only those for users they select?

@Crystal Rouse that functionality does not currently exist currently in either cloud or data center.  You could make the suggestion here so others can vote on it and Atlassian is aware of it: https://jira.atlassian.com/secure/Dashboard.jspa
