Confluence Azure deployment taking too long to complete

Is there any known issues with Confluence Azure ARM templates? It takes more than 2 hours for the VMSS script to complete. The azure scaleset is waiting in a state Creating during the entire period. Also when I try to reimage the node, it fails after a long time with extension failed, plugin enabled error.

Each time when I rerun the vmss script it fails on prepare-install-script extension on jumpbox an dI have to recreate the jumphost for it to run successfully.

As I understand, why are trying to deploy Confluence On-Premises using the Azure Template.

With this in mind, please allow me to ask you a few questions:

1. Are you trying to deploy Confluence Data Center or Server version?
2. Are you using the official template from the Azure Marketplace?
3. What database are you using?
4. Is there any errors on Confluence Logs?

Also, please check if your database has an ampersand (&) in the password:

• Using an ampersand (&) in the database password breaks Azure template

Thank you. Looks like this was a temporary issue. I am able to deploy without any issues now.
