Hello!
Is it possible to set it up confluense somehow so that when a jira issue hyperlink is inserted, it will automatically turn into a Jira Issues macro? Is there any plugin for that?
Confluence version 5.10.9 (6441)
UPD. We have Jira DataCenter 8.4.1 and Confluence 5.10.9. Have installed another clean instance of Confluence 7.4.8 and linked it with our Jira instance for test and autoconversion is working! Have installed another clean instance of Confluence 5.10.9 and linked it with our Jira instance - autoconversion is NOT working... What may cause that misconfiguration?
Support period of our lisence is over, is there any way to fix this issue without upgrading Confluence?
Hello, @sever6159 !
Welcome to the Community!
I checked in Server Confluence 7.4.5 and it works like you told.
Why you don't want to update your Confluence?
P.S. I'm trying to find from what version this feature was released.

Hi, Alexander! Thnx for your answer.
Why you don't want to update your Confluence? - I'm figuring it out. :) May be there're license restriction issues.
I'm trying to find from what version this feature was released. - It would be great! Thanks

Hi, @sever6159 !
It is really strange, because I found an article Display Jira Issues in Confluence from December 2016, where talking about this feature:
Copy, paste, done.
The quickest way to insert Jira issues in pages is using the magic that is autoconvert:
- Paste the URL of an issue into the Confluence editor; or
- Paste the URL of a Jira filter into the Confluence editor
and voila! It’s that simple.
After that I checked the release notes of Confluence 5.10.9 from November 2017.
So it looks like that you need some troubleshoting of your instance, because you already have this feature.
