Configuring a space to restrict a certain group

Lavesh Budhrani January 13, 2020

I have multiple groups and spaces in my confluence instance and I want to restrict Group A from accessing Space A. Which means, I can explicitly configure in a way that Group A does not have Access to Space A. Is this possible?

Hi @Lavesh Budhrani

To clarify,  your confluence is configured in a way that most people have access to most spaces? And you want to give access to Group A to all other spaces but Space A?

Simply *remove* the users in Group A that you don't want to have access to all those other spaces.

This will revoke their space-by-space access to all those spaces you don't want them in. In your case Space A.

Let me know how you go.

This article will help you too https://confluence.atlassian.com/doc/space-permissions-overview-139521.html
