Comment on Confluence database entries

I'm really trying to like and use Databases but oof, it's a tall order. (Yes, I have seen Notion and can't not compare.)

The lack of comments of any kind on a database entry is just unacceptable. It basically breaks the tool for me. 

I already put a few hours in recollecting and migrating some documentation into a database, only to realise this is lacking. Just a waste of time.

Agreed, realizing this was a big bummer. Luckily found out after only some entries. 

And it seems that the normal databases are phasing out soon. So no commenting possibilities to tables at all anymore, not even on the page level? What?

I would propose to explore the option of adding cell level commenting feature.
