Hello,
I have noticed an issue where the formatting of a code snippet is broken when displayed a certain way.
Basically: I create a page with code snippets (they display correctly). In a new page, I create an expand and within that I insert an include page containing the above-mentioned code snippets. After I publish the page with the expand containing an include page and open it, open the expand, the formatting of the code snippets on the include page are not formatting correctly. But if I open the published page with the code snippets not inside of an expand>include page, they are formatted correctly.
I can't find this issue discussed anywhere, but the behavior is the same on different browsers, etc. Unless I am missing something, it seems code snippet formatting breaks when displayed via an include page within an expand.
Any thoughts?
@matt.fox.denver Welcome to Confluence.
You have discovered that the /expand macro has formatting limitations. You cannot format the text that lives inside the Expand macro beyond rich text. Documentation on this macro is linked below.
