Change colour of Confluence buttons

Moritz Neuffer May 29, 2019

Dear all,

I try to change to colour of the blue Confluence buttons (e.g.: Save, Create, Publish, etc.) in the global Stylesheet.

Is there an easy way to do so?

In the following thread somebody had a similiar inquiry but unfortunately only the "Create" button was mentioned:

Where can I find the CSS to change the other buttons?

Thanks for you help.

Moritz

Hello Moritz,

Changing the colors of Confluence buttons can be sometimes straight forward and other times difficult due to the buttons and versions of Confluence you’re wanting to do this within. The top Confluence navigation pain is actually controlled by a plugin named “Confluence Fixed Headers.” The issue being is that some of the buttons are set up in a way that may impact other functions of the navigation menu itself.

With this said, we will be glad to assist with pointing you in the right direction to make these types of changes, we simply need to know the following:

  • The version of Confluence you’re running.
  • Screenshot of the buttons you want to edit.

Once we hear back we’ll test a few solutions to help with guidance on changing the coloring of the buttons.
