I would like to align the text within an Excerpt Macro to be centered rather than left justified. However, this text editing option is not selectable within the macro.
I was using a table within the excerpt macro to provide the desired formatting, but this provides challenges with digital accessibility.
Is there a way to force the text to align center in the existing Excerpt Macro? Alternatively, is there a layout table element that has the appropriate HTML markup for layout tables or the ability to edit the HTML markup?

Found CONFCLOUD-71660 which addresses this bug, but calls it a "suggestion"
@Michelle If you want to center the complete content of the excerpt, I just tried it and see that, when I select the Insert excerpt macro on the page where I want the excerpt to appear, the text align button on the toolbar is available for me to select Align center.

@Michelle There's a Source Editor Pro app, which I think is still free, so you can give it a try with manual HTML tweaks, but I'm not sure it can bend Confluence to its will...
