Cannot access Confluence outside of internal network

MikeL December 18, 2012

I've setup confluence on a server in my company's network. I've configured our DNS to point to the site and everything works on our internal network (inTRAnet), but the site is not available outside of the building.

Is there a specific set of steps I need to follow to make the site available from outside our network (the inTERnet)?

As soon as I can resolve this problem we'll be buying our Confluence license.

Thanks!

Michael

Hi Mike.

It is very difficult to thorubleshoot this without any further information. You may want to contact Atlassian Support if you noeed some help.

In Confluence, check the server base URL matches the one you use to access Confluence.

Also make sure your request coming from internet can reach your server with a network sniffer.
