Can we use one confluence server instance license in another confluence server instance

Hi Team,

We have existing two confluence server instances with 500-users and 50-users licenses each. Now we are planning to migrate one instance from server to datacenter edition with user tier 1000. Currently the instance which is having 500 user license will expire in December 2023. The server instance which is having 50 users license will expire in February 2023. can we use the existing 500-user license for the instance which is having 50-user.

Please clarify us on this query.

You will need to first migrate/merge your 50 user confluence with your 500 users one (provided it doesn't cross the license limit) and then migrate/merge with your 1000 one.

Hi @Ravi Sagar _Sparxsys_  here the instance which is having 500 user license will migrate to 1000 users with datacenter license. our question is can we use that existing 500 user server license to 50 -user license server or not?
