Can we build a Confluence Knowledge Base Space that is accessible outside of our organization?

Charles Baldwin September 20, 2020

We are building a new web-based product for consumer use. We would like to create a knowledge base or self-service helpdesk in Confluence so that consumers can access.

@Charles Baldwin

If you're looking to make the knowledge base more like a website, you might want to check out my team's app Scroll Viewport. As an example of what a Scroll Viewport site looks like, here's our help center.

As @DPKJ  said, this is part of the solution.

The other part is of course the possibility to reach the confluence outside of your organization. It must be accessible from the Internet.

@Charles Baldwin Welcome to the Atlassian Community.

On your question about making Confluence content to outside world is very much possible. This is called Anonymous access in Confluence terminology.

Here this guide will help you in this - https://support.atlassian.com/confluence-cloud/docs/set-up-public-access/
