Can't login to confluence after upgrade to 7.01!

The upgrade went well so far, yesterday. This morning I come to office and the server shows Bad gateway. I restarted the server and the server comes up normal (no problems in catalina.out).

Now I am facing the problem that I can't login anymore, the login dialog appears but then after login nothing happens, just flipping back to the startscreen without logging me in.

What can I do?

I've asked fellow more-knowledgeable Community Leaders to chime in, but I have't heard of anyone with this problem yet.
