Can't find comment file toolbar for commenting on documents

Jim Johnson June 5, 2016

I would like to experiment with commenting on documents.

I uploaded a Word file to a page and put it in view mode.  However, I do not see the little menu at the bottom of the view window, where I might find the comments pin.

Any suggestions as to why I don't have / can't find that function?

Hello Jim,

You can use this way:

  1. Click on document

  2. And the option is on the bottom. laugh

Lemme know if you have any doubt.

Regards,

Lameck.

No comments menu visible in the "View" of the document.

Did you try with .PDF? And another situation is I do not only attached the file, I put the file at the page.

Try do this:

  1. Create or edit a page
  2. Put the file direct on the page (edit view)
  3. The file show up like image below
  4. Save the page
  5. Click on the "file"
  6. And try comment

I think you need to use the macro to files.

Jim, lemme know if worked it. And you if you have any problem, comment here. laugh

I got it to work. The trick is to import the page, not attach a page.

The "import page" menu item is found from an existing page, which is not obvious.

Thanks!
