Can someone point me to a good tutorial on Form Field type Section?

TTK December 18, 2020

I just can't seem to put this all together, we are trying to have sections of fields that we can hide or set Read Only depending of the forms status.

Thanks

Hi

Section in ConfiForms is nothing else but the way to separate fields in the default layout - the field renders as header with the title value you put

If you are looking to create forms with dynamically showing/hiding/setting fields readonly you need to look and use the ConfiForms Field Definition Rules macros that can help you there.

You can have your form rules dynamically executed (based on the condition you set)

Please also see this page that explains differences between cloud and server/dc versions of ConfiForms - https://wiki.vertuna.com/pages/viewpage.action?pageId=52626693

(we are committed to close the feature gap, but it is still long way to go)
