Can search be tailored to content within specific pages?

I would like to restrict my 'search' possibility within specific pages and the Livesearch macro is not optimal. 

I have created a search page with Livesearch macro and tried to restrict it to specific ancestor page but a) I need to add the ancestor every time that I use the search (I cannot find the relevant space in the macro) and b) it leads only to text written on the page, whereas I would also like that the search is also done in attached/linked documents.

If it is within a specific Space you could use the Page tree search.

Many thanks!! Much appreciated. I think now it works fine for almost all. Except from searching into presentations- if you or another community member has a hint for ppt as well, it would be ideal. Best, Eleni
