The knowledge base talks to being able to edit a file (after downloading the Companion App) - can more than one person edit a file at a time?

Hi Nadine,

Do you mean can more than one person edit a page? If that's your question then yes it is called Concurring editing. It is in Confluence 6 version and higher

@Nadine Thanks for reaching out!

Collaborative/concurrent editing only works for Confluence pages, but not for file attachments. If two users edit the same file using the Companion app, the last person that will press "update file" will win.

Luckily tho, Confluence supports file versioning. So should you ever accidentally overwrite somebody else his changes, you will be able to revert to an older version.

Hope this helps! :)
