We'd like to use Confluence's 'Questions' feature, but want to restrict edit access to only two user groups so that our customers can read FAQs in Questions without having the ability to ask net-new questions there (we use a Slack support channel for that). It looks from this Confluence guidance like it's possible to restrict edit/write access: https://confluence.atlassian.com/questions/permissions-407724476.html but, it seems as though Administrator privileges may be required to introduce that constraint. Is this indeed the case, and can we add restrictions to a specific Space in Confluence (and not everything in Confluence)?
@Paige Hargrave Welcome to the Atlassian Community.
There is not really a way to do this. There are some workarounds here: https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Questions-for-Confluence/Disable-questions-for-spaces-in-Confluence-Cloud-version/qaq-p/966921
This is a way to disable it but it is not really what you are looking for.
