Can I use a Confluence 'create from template' maco within a global template?

Hi,

I'm trying to incorporate a 'create from template' macro within a global template on Confluence Server 7.2.1.  However, when I try to do this, the 'template name' field in the macro editor is empty and also won't let me type the template name I wish to use as the basis for the page to be created.

Any ideas?!
