Newbie here- and I have a simple question.

How can I import PDFs into Confluence? I know I can import from Word.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi @Susan Burke

You can't... not in the sense of importing the content of the PDF...

You can

  • export PDF as a .doc format - require Acrobat or a third party internet service. There are many and some do a really good job. Obviously, you may wanna avoid those for private content.
  • attach a pdf file to the page
  • simply copy paste the content from the PDF onto the Confluence page. This is my method of choice for one-off imports.

Hi @Susan Burke Welcome to the community!

Confluence doesn't natively import PDFs, but you can use apps or macros to do so:
