Question I believe pretty much explains the issue, but unclear why i have first download a screenshot and then upload it , also taking one and dragging it is like a race as it is saved on a desktop if u dont do it on time and then it becomes a desktop files which eats space and slows ur PC boot
@Leo Welcome to the Atlassian Community.
I understand the question. Unfortunately the capability of taking and inserting a screenshot directly into a Confluence page does not currently exist. You shouldn't need to download and save your screenshots though. If you are using the snipping tool in Windows you can snip and then copy+paste the image into a page you are editing.
I hope this helps!
There's also Chrome apps (which are likely available on other browsers) to let you screenshot and copy an image, to paste straight into platforms like Confluence.
Personally, I use Awesome Screenshot.

Thanks both but browser switching since i now use edge mostly due to usage of msft enterprise products is not a very efficient option n i m on osx so the windows solution does not work but it does answer my question that this is not a feature but should be 😀

You can install browser apps like Awesome Screenshot on Edge.
