Can I get current version control to appear on document intended for downloading

We use Confluence to manage our documents etc for our IS09001 accreditation  Our auditor has asked if the recent version number can appear on our documents that we download. see below where  X is in the footerVersion Control.JPG

Hi @Bron Hayes ,

With the help of user macro you can add the version number on the confluence page and also the version number will be displayed on the exported pdf file.

Please follow the below steps:

  • Admin->General Configuration 
  • select "User macros" from the left hand pane
  • click on the create user macro link at the bottom of the list in the RH pane
  • Add the "Macro name" and "Macro Title" to the form.
  • Add the below code in the template.

  • Click on the Save button.
  • create the page and export it as pdf.
