Is it possible to configure the date picker to show calendar weeks?
Current:
Should:
Using: Confluence 6.13.0
Hello there Martin!
Currently, this feature is not present for the Date Picker. The Date Picker follows these guidelines:
Atlassian Design - Date Picker
However, Team Calendars does have this feature:
CONFSERVER-51397 | Show week number in Team Calendar
You can embed a team calendar to the desired page and then check the week number settings under general configuration:
- Create a page
- While in edit mode, add a team calendar macro
- Select the view mode as month
- Publish the page
- Go to Cog Icon > General Configuration > Team Calendars
- Search for Team Calendar in the left hand side menu bar
- Under Global Settings mark the Display week numbers checkbox
- Save the settings
- Go back to the newly created page
After that, week numbers should display into the Team Calendars macro. You can also insert the Team Calendars Macro into an already existing page.
Martin, let us know your thoughts on this!
Thank you Diego!
Sadly the Team Calendar is not available in our installation nor do I need it just for the calendar week feature on regular dates.
Do you know if there are any plans on adding this feature to the Date Picker?

Hello Martin!
Thanks for asking. Currently, adding this feature to the date picker is not within the Roadmap.

We would like this feature here. So sad it isn't available, we thought this DatePicker component would be the one with the nearest behavior than the Jira's date picker. :(
