For various reasons our databases (sqlserver) may be unavailable when the page is refreshed and the sql query is run. The SQL connection will throw an error showing the database is unavailable. The same issue will occur if the query runs too long and a timeout exception is thrown.
My question... Is there a way to wrap the {sql-query} macro statement and catch the SQL error? The best case would be to catch the error and then NOT refresh the page. If that is not possible, then maybe have the page show 'No data'.
Looks like this isn't possible at the moment, but I'd suggest you to raise an improvement request at the plugin's issue tracker - https://studio.plugins.atlassian.com/browse/SQL. Hope this helps!
