As an admin I don't have any good way to notify all my Jira/Confluence users about upcoming changes. I'd like to make them all watchers to our blog, but I don't see any way to add a group of users to the Watch function. Is there a trick I've missed in the doc?

We can achieve this via API. In UI it is not possible.

Get the list of users you want to add to space and call API at once
