Building data entry Form in Confluence

OscarRi December 30, 2024

Is there a possibility to store data from a Confluence page that I created as a data entry form going to a Confluence database/table by using Publish automation? I'm kinda stuck with it.

An example would be a textbox that I'll assign a string variable and when user hit Publish, that string will be stored in tblConfluence database where the column is strTxtbox. Thanks as always and happy holidays :)

Hi @OscarRi, welcome to the Atlassian Community!

I'm not sure if this would fit your needs, but one option I can think of to reference data from Confluence pages is the Page Properties macro:

With this, you can create tables in your confluence pages, which can be queried and referenced in other pages and reports.

Hope this helps!

Hi @OscarRi

There is no built-in functionality in Confluence for creating entry forms, but there is a number of 3rd party apps that can help you with that
