Hi, is there a way to use automation in Confluence to perform a bulk update of page titles?
I have a number of Page title starting with the following format
ABC to ....
that i would like to perform a mass update to partially update the page title to
XYZ to ...
is this possible?
As said by @Marc - Devoteam It won't be possible with Automation. You can do it with the API or more easily with the app Space Content Manager - bulk editor for content management
Regards,
Thank you for suggesting @Craig_Harley try our app Space Content Manager @Cyrille Martin.
@Craig_Harley start with using the bulk find and replace feature.
Also, try the feature to bulk insert page title prefix or suffix. It could be another way to solve the problem, even if not in this case it gives you options for the future:
You must be a registered user to add a comment. If you've already registered, sign in. Otherwise, register and sign in.
No this can't be done.
You can use the API to update a page title, but not in bilk, as the API needs the ID of the page.
You probably could script this by using a file that contains the paged id's and make an API call per page id
