AutoExport plugin outputting XML not HTML for macros

Dan Winfield December 6, 2011

Hi

I am trying to use the AutoExport plugin for Confluence. I have the latest version of both running.

The export works fine except that the content is not 100% HTML.

As an example, the ouput for a link is ...

<AC:LINK><RI:PAGE ri:content-title="The page you are linking to"></AC:LINK>

Is there a way to get HTML out of the AutoExport rather than this? The RI:PAGE tag isn't even XML!

Any help would be appreciated. I will have to process the export otherwise before I can use it.

Thanks in advance

Dan

Just to clarify, this was using the default template in Confluence.

Hey - thanks for reporting this! Sounds like there may be a bug in the AutoExport plugin for Confluence 4. The XML you are seeing is the XHTML Storage Format that Confluence uses to persist page data. It should be passed through Confluence's render pipeline to produce HTML before the AutoExport plugin spits it out.

I'll link this question to one of the developers and see if we can reproduce the problem and fix it.

Thx Joseph,

Can you let me know if I can work around it with some velocity code or any other method?
