Asana Link Preview Does Not Show Due Date

Meri April 25, 2024

Hello! Has anyone found a way to show an Asana task due date in Confluence without an integration?

When an Asana link is pasted into Confluence, the date that shows in the preview is the Sunday before the due date, not the due date. It would be 100x more helpful if the due date would appear in the preview, not an arbitrary Sunday.

@Meri welcome to the Atlassian community

I would like to try and recreate, can you share a screenshot of what you are seeing?

Hi Sure here's an example! I created a blank task with a due date of 10/10/24. Here's how the card shows in confluence:

@Meri I am wondering if your asana server is in a different timezone than your confluence instance.

Huh im not sure. It looks like theyre both EST.

How do I confirm Asana timezone? This is what the asana forum says: Asana time zones are automatically set by your browser's time zone.Screenshot 2024-10-03 at 3.05.12 PM.png
