As a Site Admin, I am unable to delete or archive a space.

I am unable to delete or archive a space within Confluence as a Site Admin.

As Rajarshi said, you would still need to be space admin to delete or archive a space.

Additionally, as a product admin you could recover missing permissions for spaces you wish to delete or archive by following these steps.
