Are live templates suitable?

Our spaces have pages with high flexibly in size, they have different headings and they differ in the use of tables and makros/ add-ons

There is a common template which sums up all potential headings and user deletes the headings if they are not applicable for a new page. 

Our WIKI content is based on text like articles, we do not not use any high advanced design elements yet and there is no need to structure our text information. We just write down what we know for this topic.

For my understanding live templates make sense if pages have a common structure and size.
