Approval Mechanism

Hi everyone,

We need your help regarding the documentation process.

As we create the new page, we want it to be published after the authorized user's approval.

And as soon as the approval step is finished, we want the version number to increase automatically.

We would be glad if anyone can enlighten us.

I’m a senior product manager with Comalatech, one of Atlassian’s Marketplace Partners. For an approval process, you need an extra app. One possible solution to your problem could be our app Comala Document Approval from the Comala Document Management family of apps. You can find it on the Atlassian marketplace. 

The Confluence version number changes on page edits. Changing a version number on approval is an interesting use case so I'll look in to it!
