Annoying UX editing JQL in a Jira embed in a confluence page

Fernando Santana October 16, 2024

Hi.

There is a UX error that is very annoying when you try to write a JQL query in a /Jira embed in a Confluence page.

The error is that the pop-up autocomplete prompt appears over the text you are typing, so you can't continue typing while the pop-up prompt loads the possible values.

Lowering that pop-up tip a bit, as it is in Jira, would be very helpful.

Sadly, from the community side this is something that we don't have impact on. For all of the requests, even this one, please contact Atlassian support: https://support.atlassian.com/
