Hi,
I have an existing form with about 100+records. I want to add a new field to the form (3 options) and default all of the existing records to say Option 1 of the new field.
Is that possible, and how would I do it?
Hi @Barry Smyth
You can just add the ConfiForms Field Definition into your form and make the request to update it to a certain value using the REST API
On server
On cloud

Nope, can't follow that at all. Is there a simple step by step guide for the complete beginner? Otherwise i'll just manually go into each record and update them. Thought there would have been a simpler way to save time.
And suddenly it clicked and I was able to it simply using the URL approach. Who knew it was that easy!!!

I am glad you find it easy... as it truly is... not really much to add than to what I have mentioned in my 1st comment
