Add Inline Comment feature is notifying watchers of a page - is there a way to prevent this?

Hi everyone,

When we collaborate on a piece of work, using Inline Comment, all watchers of the Space are notified. We aren't editing the page, so can't uncheck the 'notify watchers' box. We want it to only notify the person tagged on the Inline Comment, not all watchers. 

Is there a way to change this?
