Hey community,
I am planning to expand our Confluence instance to a real intranet. I already invested some time to think about the structure, add-ons etc.
One thing that worries me a bit is the access management in combination with the anonymous access with different spaces.
Concretely I want to grant anonymous acces to allow user to view their intranet space, so that they do need to log in, but more importantly, that not every user consumes a license.
My problem is that we also have partner that needs to have access to our intranet, so therefore it will be also used as an extranet. My idea is to do a specific space for them and to publish information there that is important for them. They however cannot have access to other spaces that are considered intranet information. I will need to grant the anonymous access to both the intranet and the extranet space, because of the license situation.
So it is possible to restrict the access to some spaces even though anonymous access is activated? Via the IP maybe?
Thanks in advance!
Simon
