Ability to see what size each page is

森田智誌 August 27, 2024

The overall size is getting larger, so I want to select the pages that take up the most space. Could you please let me know if there is a function that allows me to check which pages are taking up the most space?

It just occurred to me... the page size might be relative and different tools may show different readings.

For example.

  • A page's HTML file when exported is, say 14 KB.
  • There might be images listed in the page's Attachment section, all in all, 2 MB.
  • But only 2 images are actually displayed on the page, so only those 2 images impact the loading time.

@森田智誌

Since you're on Premium tear, I really wouldn't worry about the page sizes unless your using them for file storage ;)

Space Report is a good start to get the storage idea.

If you export a space as HTML, you'll see individual page's files and their sizes - that, however, excludes attachments, but can also help.

Other than that, I'd look at what Marketplace has to offer, there are space management apps that can provide that functionality.

Thank you, I will check it.

Hello @森田智誌 , welcome to the community.

As Kristian mentioned, in the Atlassian Marketplace you can find various apps that can help you.

Our Viewtracker app comes with various reports, including the Instance Report, which shows you which spaces used the most attachment storage across the entire instance in the defined period. At the Space level, the Space Stature Report gives you information on which pages consumed the most attachment storage.
The Attachment Report or Content & Usage Report, set with the content type attachments, gives you information about the different attachments, sizes, and usage.

Kind regards,

Mattia

Hi there,

I'm not sure about seeing which pages exactly are taking up the most space, but one thing that I'd suggest here is the Space Exports feature. You can learn more information about it here. One thing this feature does is tells you the storage size of each space. I know that's not telling you exactly which pages are the largest, but it can at least help point you in the right direction.

I checked.
It was the size per space.
Is it possible to see the size per page in more detail?

I'm not sure if there's a native option to gather the specific information you're looking for.
