Filter and password secure table from excel doc for multiple users
We have a situation where one of our teams uploads an excel doc that has a column for who the manager for each team is assigned and I would like to be able to filter out each of those managers assigned teams into a separate page/whether it be by excerpt or anything really and then use the secure add on to lock that excerpt or box down with password access for just that manager. All of the data will be coming from one table…
I am trying to use table filters and charts, but when I try to put the table filter macro into the excerpt macro, and it doesn’t like that. I am open to all suggestions. We haven’t purchased any add ons yet…wanting to see if I can find a solid option.
ideally I would like the excel doc to automatically import to a table so if a new one gets uploaded, it will automatically do the filters I create..
